Hyperion is Maruri's volume tubular-carbon family and the shape of the modern Brazilian lure rod: one-piece blanks at 5'8", 6'0" and 6'3", split between carretilha (C) and molinete (S) builds, with powers from UL to MH and fast actions throughout. Line classes run 4-8 lb up to 10-20 lb with casting weights of 2-7 g to 10-28 g, which is the tucunaré, traíra and black bass envelope on Brazilian rivers and reservoirs.
