The Mukai AIR-STICK is the brand's flagship area-trout family, a set of ultralight spinning rods built around light, high-sensitivity blanks for managed-pond and stream trout. Over the years it has grown into several sub-lines that share the AIR-STICK character but tune it for different anglers and tactics.

The ZERO models use a hollow thick-axis blank with a choice of solid or tubular top; the cork-gripped More blends conventional carbon with four-axis Quattro carbon; the KOMAYA pair is supervised by Professor Nagai for nose-focused, set-free hooking; the Plus is a four-piece travel rod; the Reverbrater Pogo pairs a strong butt with a sensitive tubular tip for bottom and pogo lures; and the JETBLACK range delivers a high-end black cosmetic across regular-taper winding, fast-taper all-round, light-power technical and glass-blank models.

All are spinning rods in the 5.7 to 6.3 foot range, UL-class apart from one L-power technical model, rated for micro spoons, cranks and bottom lures.
