Scope Black Duplon

Scope Black Duplon puts a full-length black Duplon handle on the retractable Scope in place of the bare abbreviated shrink grips, for anglers who want conventional foam under the casting hand and a warmer, more secure hold in wet or cold conditions. Everything that defines the Scope carries over: the 24 tonne low resin carbon blank with its helical strengthening weave, the Seaguide TDG Minima-style ring train running a 40mm butt ring to a 12mm anti-frap tip on the longer models, the Butt Lock Peg connection in the butt cap, and the retractable butt section that keeps pack-down to roughly 44 inches for the 9ft and 50 inches for the 10ft.

The line spans 6ft, 9ft and 10ft, mapping the same working test curves as the Abbreviated so the choice between the two is purely a handle decision. The full Duplon adds a little weight and bulk at the butt but keeps the rod usable with standard rests and sleeves, and the plain black finish keeps it visually consistent with the rest of the black Scope family.
