Scope OPS is the camo-green expression of the Scope concept, and the OPS Abbreviated is its minimal-handle flagship format. The blanks step up from the standard range to 30 tonne high modulus low resin carbon with a 1K Toray external weave, giving crisp recovery on the cast and a clean, progressive playing action under the tip. Handle furniture is cut back to short abbreviated grips so the rod stays light and packs tight, and the olive and dark green cosmetics are built for anglers who want tackle that disappears against the bankside rather than glosses on it.
The working features of the Scope platform carry over intact: the retractable butt section that packs a full-length 9ft or 10ft blank down to car-boot size, and the patented Butt Lock Peg connection that fits the butt cap and lets a rod be positioned on a single bankstick with no rear rest, useful low to the water and in the tight, overlooked swims the format was designed to reach.
