Scope OPS Dark Cork finishes the green OPS blank with dark-toned cork handles, blending the traditional material with the subdued styling of the OPS range. The cork is stained dark rather than left natural, so the rod keeps the low-visibility character of the olive family while offering cork's practical advantages: low weight, warmth in the hand on cold nights, and reliable grip when wet.

Underneath, the rod is the standard OPS build: a 30 tonne high modulus low resin carbon blank with a 1K Toray external weave for crisp recovery and a composed playing action. The retractable butt section packs the made-up rod down to compact transport length, and the patented Butt Lock Peg connection in the butt cap secures the rod to a single bankstick where a rear rest will not fit or would silhouette against the skyline.
