ARES Aggresor Raiga

Raiga is a short, portable keiryu rod that closes to 46 cm. Five lengths run 2.65 m to 4.00 m, all in the Kouchou grade, on 7 to 11 sections.

What separates it from the other compact rods is the tippet rating: 0.5 to 1.0 号 throughout, two to five times heavier than the Pocket Mini's 0.1 to 0.5 号. That, with weights of 35 g to 80 g, makes it a rod for bigger fish in small water rather than a finesse tool.

Prices run ¥12,000 to ¥17,800 before tax.
