The Shun carries CIM and stainless SiC guides and is Nissin's full-specification iso rod below the flagship tiers. Nine rods cover 5.00 m and 5.30 m in five classes at 210 g to 235 g.
Prices run ¥31,000 to ¥34,000 before tax. Power is the 号 class, the Japanese scale for iso rods: a 1号 blank is a fine float rod and a 5号 is a heavy one, and each class is a separate rod with its own weight, rating and price. 遠投 (entou) in a class name marks the long-casting version.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 9 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
