ARES Chronicle ISO

The Chronicle is the value full-size iso rod, with CIM guides on the tip section only, which is where they matter most for line flow. Seven rods cover 5.00 m and 5.30 m in five classes at 190 g to 220 g.

Prices run ¥19,500 to ¥22,000 before tax, the least expensive of the 5 m-class iso rods. Power is the 号 class, the Japanese scale for iso rods: a 1号 blank is a fine float rod and a 5号 is a heavy one, and each class is a separate rod with its own weight, rating and price. 遠投 (entou) in a class name marks the long-casting version.
