ARES Fine Mode Hato Mebaru

Hato Mebaru is Nissin's standard harbour rockfish pole and the largest mebaru family it builds: fifteen rods across three hardness grades.

Lengths run 4.40 m to 9.00 m, which is long for the fish, because the point of a nobe pole on a breakwater is to reach past the wall and drop a bait beside structure without casting. Weights run 80 g to 355 g and rods close to 101 to 104 cm. Kouchou takes 0.5 to 1.0 号 harisu, and the firmer Kouchuukou and Koukouchou grades take 0.6 to 1.2 号.

Prices run ¥14,000 to ¥36,000 before tax. The hardness grade is the variant axis: one length is sold in several grades, each with its own weight, tippet rating, price and product number.
