ARES Ingram Ikada Expert

The Ingram Ikada Expert is the high-specification jointed ikada rod in the Ingram tier, offered in two tip types on one length.

Two rods at 1.50 m and 100 g, one Hon Sakichoushi and one Binkan Sakichoushi, closing to 85 cm, with a 0.8 to 2.5 号 harisu rating and a 0 to 2 号 sinker load.

Price is ¥26,500 before tax for either tip. Ikada rods vary by TIP rather than by hardness: Hon Sakichoushi is the true tip-action blank, Binkan Sakichoushi a more sensitive version of it, and Sakichoushi Koushiki the firmer one. Each is a separate rod with its own weight, rating and product number.
