ARES Japan Made Verno ISO

The Verno is Nissin's 2026 Japan-made iso range, sold on dependable basics rather than on a new material. Twenty-nine rods cover 3.55 m to 5.40 m in eight power classes from 1号 to 5号遠投, weighing 120 g to 485 g.

Prices run ¥13,500 to ¥24,900 before tax. Power is the 号 class, the Japanese scale for iso rods: a 1号 blank is a fine float rod and a 5号 is a heavy one, and each class is a separate rod with its own weight, rating and price. 遠投 (entou) in a class name marks the long-casting version.
