Kuro Bushi, the black warrior, is the sibling of the Aka Bushi and shares its blanks and ratings. Nissin describes the line as a pursuit of tip action, which on an ikada rod is the whole instrument: the bite is felt and seen at the tip and nowhere else.
Nine rods cover 1.30 m to 1.80 m at 100 g to 135 g in three tip types, closing to 73 cm to 95 cm, with harisu ratings of 0.8 to 3 号 and sinker loads of 0 to 3 号.
Prices are ¥17,000 to ¥17,500 before tax. Ikada rods vary by TIP rather than by hardness: Hon Sakichoushi is the true tip-action blank, Binkan Sakichoushi a more sensitive version of it, and Sakichoushi Koushiki the firmer one. Each is a separate rod with its own weight, rating and product number.
