ARES Lucido Inaho

Inaho is Nissin's long multi-piece clear-stream rod, built as a nagatsugi pole that breaks into four to eight sections of about 104 cm rather than telescoping into a short tube. The maker describes it as delicate but able to be fished aggressively, and the long sections give a smoother bend than a many-section telescopic of the same length.

Five lengths run 3.60 m to 7.25 m, each in a standard or an H grade. The standard rods weigh 55 g to 195 g and take 0.2 to 0.8 号 harisu; the H grade adds about 5 g and lifts the rating to 0.4 to 1.0 号 for bigger fish or heavier water.

Prices run ¥13,600 to ¥27,900 before tax. Fixed-line poles with no reel seat, rated for nylon harisu, made in Japan.
