Mon is Nissin's most compact tanago pole, closing to 18 cm, which is short enough to carry in a jacket pocket.
Three rods are listed in shaku sizes, 2.6, 3 and 3.3 尺, which is 0.78 m to 1.00 m, on 7 to 9 sections. Weights are 15 g to 17 g and the harisu rating is 0.1 to 0.5 号. At that scale the rod is the whole outfit: a metre of pole, a metre of line and a hook sized for a fish that fits in a palm.
Prices run ¥17,800 to ¥20,000 before tax.
