ARES Pocket Mini V3

The Pocket Mini is Nissin's most compact keiryu rod, closing to 25 cm at every length. Five rods cover 2.70 m to 4.50 m, and the section counts show what that costs: 15 sections at 2.70 m rising to 25 at 4.50 m.

Weights stay low, 25 g to 75 g, and the harisu rating is 0.1 to 0.5 号 throughout, the finest in the keiryu family and a sign the rod is aimed at small fish rather than heavy water. There is no grade choice.

Prices run ¥23,100 to ¥34,600 before tax, which places a 25 cm packed rod above most full-size keiryu rods.
