Kaijo tsuribori is Japanese sea-pen fishing: stocked pens in sheltered water holding madai, kanpachi and other farmed-on species, fished from a walkway on short, strong rods. The Pro Spec is Nissin's baseline model for it.
Eight rods cover 3.30 m to 4.50 m in M and H powers, weighing 205 g to 325 g. Harisu ratings run 2 to 8 号 on the M and 3 to 10 号 on the H, far heavier than any stream rod, and the sinker load runs to 15 号. Rods close to 98 to 109 cm.
Prices run ¥21,800 to ¥29,400 before tax.
