ARES Pro Spec Kaijo Tsuribori Kiwazuri

Kiwazuri means fishing the edge, working a bait tight against the pen wall where fish hold. It needs a short rod, and this is the jointed nagatsugi model Nissin builds for it.

Four rods cover 1.80 m to 2.60 m at 150 g to 180 g, short enough to control a fish in the first metre of water. The harisu rating is 2 to 10 号 and the sinker load 0 to 8 号. Closed lengths of 96 to 145 cm reflect the jointed build rather than a telescopic one.
