The Proudia is the equipment-led model in Nissin's ikada range, which the maker sells on its tip sections and fittings rather than on price.
Six rods cover 1.35 m to 1.65 m at 80 g to 110 g in two tip types, Hon Sakichoushi and the more sensitive Binkan Sakichoushi, closing to 77 cm to 88 cm. Harisu ratings are 0.8 to 2.5 号 and 0.8 to 3 号.
Prices run ¥23,500 to ¥25,500 before tax. Ikada rods vary by TIP rather than by hardness: Hon Sakichoushi is the true tip-action blank, Binkan Sakichoushi a more sensitive version of it, and Sakichoushi Koushiki the firmer one. Each is a separate rod with its own weight, rating and product number.
