Bessatsu Kobunatan is the made-to-order tier of Nissin's kobuna poles, built for small crucian in still water and finished as an object as much as a tool.

Ten rods cover 0.90 m to 2.15 m, listed in traditional shaku sizes from 3 to 7 尺, in a standard and a Kyogi competition grade. All close to 25 cm, weigh 20 g to 30 g, and carry a 0.1 to 0.5 号 harisu rating. Carbon content is deliberately low, 27% to 43%, because the blank is built for feel at very short range rather than for stiffness.

Prices run ¥16,800 to ¥24,200 before tax.
