The Shonai is a regional tradition: a long inner-line rod from the Shonai district of Yamagata, fished for black porgy from rocky shorelines. Nissin builds this one from field feedback rather than from the historic pattern alone. Six rods cover 2.95 m to 7.70 m at 95 g to 360 g.
