Tanagokoro belongs to Nissin's Seikon tier of traditional micro-fishing poles, and every rod in it closes to 25 cm regardless of length.

Fifteen rods cover 0.90 m to 3.10 m in two grades. Nanchou is the soft grade and Kyogi the competition grade, and the harisu rating is 0.1 to 0.5 号 across all of them, which is hair-fine line for bitterling and small crucian. Weights run 20 g to 55 g on 5 to 18 sections.

Prices run ¥13,600 to ¥26,300 before tax, high for the size, which is what the section count and the finish cost.
