ARES Suica Ryuko

Ryuko is the compact-packing keiryu rod: seven lengths from 2.60 m to 5.30 m that all close to 38 cm, against the 52 to 56 cm of the standard keiryu rods.

It reaches that by using more sections, 9 at the shortest length up to 19 at 5.30 m, which is the same trade the Tenkara Mini makes. Weights run 40 g to 180 g, every rod is the Kouchou grade, and the harisu rating is 0.2 to 0.8 号 throughout.

Prices run ¥17,500 to ¥34,000 before tax, above the standard-packing rods, which is what the compact build costs.
