ARES Tenkara Ramon

The Ramon sits between the Mini and the standard range on packed size, closing to 48 cm against the Mini's 25 cm and the range's usual 57 cm. Three lengths, 2.90 m, 3.25 m and 3.60 m, all in a 7:3 taper, with no softer option.

It is the heaviest tenkara family Nissin lists for its length, 80 g to 90 g on an 85% carbon blank, which puts it closer to a general stream pole than to the high-carbon ZEROSUM and Keikyoku rods. The tip is 0.65 mm and the tippet rating 0.8 to 1.2 号 nylon harisu. At ¥19,000 to ¥21,000 before tax it is priced with the mid-range. Fixed-line telescopic poles with no reel seat, made in Japan.
