ARES ZEROSUM Hatsuume

Hatsuume sits in Nissin's flagship ZEROSUM tier and is built around one quality, lightness. At 33 g for a 3.95 m rod it is among the lightest poles in the whole Nissin range, roughly 8 g per metre, and the 5.45 m rod still weighs only 55 g.

Three lengths, 3.95 m, 4.45 m and 5.45 m, all closing to 60 cm, with the finest tippet rating in the seiryu range at 0.1 to 0.4 号. That rating places it with the smallest fish: tanago and small trout on hair-fine harisu, where the rod's own weight is what an angler feels all day.

Prices run ¥23,100 to ¥28,400 before tax. No-reel telescopic poles rated for nylon harisu, made in Japan.
