The Monster Sniper is the flagship kabuse rod, added in 2026 at the top of Nissin's ZEROSUM tier, and the maker presents it as its answer for anglers chasing the largest fish the method takes.
One rod at 2.40 m and 135 g, closing to 129 cm, lighter than the Chronicle Kabuse rods of similar length despite being aimed at bigger fish. The harisu rating is 1.5 to 8 号 with a 0 to 7 号 sinker load.
Price is ¥50,000 before tax, which places it well above every other kabuse rod in the range.
