Ripple is a 3-model hand pole range running 4.5 to 6.3 m. Taiwanese pond poles are fished without a reel for tilapia and carp, the line running straight from the tip. Protako's own copy names targets grouper, stream fish and tilapia. Carbon content is quoted at 99%. The stated design priorities are low weight and stiffness through the middle.
