BlueBlaze

BlueBlaze is Restaffine's lighter boat-casting series, sitting below the heavy GT and tuna rods of BlackBlaze. It carries the same full-length boron construction, with boron fiber running the entire length of the blank, but is built for lighter casting work and smaller-to-mid pelagic targets rather than the largest fish in the offshore range. The boron blank gives the series its load characteristics, holding strength through deep bends while keeping the rod workable for repeated casting. Like the rest of the catalog, BlueBlaze rods are made to order, and guide trains can be specified as titanium-frame SiC or stainless to match the conditions. BlueBlaze gives anglers a boron casting option that does not demand the full power, and weight, of the BlackBlaze rods, making it the choice when the targets and lures are lighter but the angler still wants a full-length boron blank under load.
