SilverStream Apis is Ripple Fisher's short-length shooting series for close-quarters boat and shore seabass. Ripple Fisher built the two models around precise casting accuracy at short range: boat seabass, small rivers, and structure fishing in the back reaches of bays, where lures must be placed against pilings, berth structure, and light-shadow lines. The Apis blank carries a firm, uniform stiffness that sharpens short-rod sensitivity and response. Two 7-foot models split by input style: the 72 Apis is stiffer and reflex-driven for pinpoint casts that thread gaps in cover, favoring 15g-class jerkbaits, pencil dogwalking, and popping, while retaining enough tip finesse to work sub-10g sinking pencils during spring bachinuki runs. The 71B Apis is a baitcasting model that fuses direct lure control and retrieve stability with a supple bend for varied cast forms, drifting, and vertical-range tracing, backed by a strong butt for close-in power fights around tetrapods and boatside. Both use SiC-S titanium-frame K guides. This series is the finesse counterpart to Ripple Fisher's big-bait power-game rods.
