Archer

The Archer is a compact range built on matte Toray carbon fibre blanks tuned for bite transmission. Components are Fuji Fazlite guides, carbon locking rings with gold trim, and composite AA cork and ultra-hard EVA grips shaped to sit in the hand for a clean casting action. Thirteen rods run from 6' to 7'2" across powers from Extra Light through Extra Heavy.

The range is laid out by application. An extra-light 6'9" 2-6lb spin targets finesse bream and trout; a light 6'11" 4-8lb spin works as an all-round estuary rod for bream and flathead through to freshwater bass and yellowbelly; and the medium, heavy, and extra-heavy 7'0" spin models handle inshore plastics and slugs for pelagics.

The Archer covers estuary, inshore, and light freshwater lure fishing, with the Toray blanks and Fuji Fazlite guides positioning it toward the sensitive, finesse end of the Samaki range. Fazlite is a Fuji ring material that runs light and hard-wearing, suited to the fine braids used in finesse work, and the matte blank finish reduces glare on the water. The carbon locking rings with gold trim and the composite cork and EVA grips keep the rod light in the hand for the extended casting that lure fishing demands. Across its 6' to 7'2" lengths and Extra Light through Extra Heavy powers, the range steps from finesse bream and trout rods up to inshore models for plastics and slugs at pelagics, giving broad coverage of estuary and inshore species from a single compact family.
