Ice Tip

The Ice Tip is Samaki's fibreglass range, built around a solid tip integrated into the blank and steel-framed zirconia guides. Fifteen rods run from 7' to 10' across powers from Extra Light through Heavy, all spin.

The fibreglass construction is the defining feature: it favours durability and a forgiving, progressive load over the crispness of graphite, and the integrated solid tip adds bite detection and shock absorption. Deluxe rod seats round out the componentry.

The broad length and power spread from 7' to 10' makes the Ice Tip an adaptable general-purpose glass range rather than a single-discipline rod. The lighter, longer models suit lighter spin work while the heavier models handle bait and larger fish, with the glass blank giving up outright sensitivity for toughness and cushioning through the fight. Glass blanks bend deeper and load slower than graphite, which forgives sudden lunges and protects lighter lines, and the solid tip carries that forgiveness into the very end of the rod where bites register. The steel-framed zirconia guides add corrosion resistance and hold up to the knocks that a bait rod takes, making the Ice Tip a durable, budget-conscious choice across a range of spin fishing styles.
