Shore Cast

Shore Cast is Samaki's dedicated beach and rock range, built for long-distance shore casting. Seven rods run from 9'6" to 10' (with the wider family extending to 12') in Medium and Heavy powers, covering tailor off sandy beaches through to pelagics from rock platforms.

Guides are Japanese Fuji-K O-ring guides chosen for smooth, tangle-free casting at distance, and the deluxe cushioned reel seat is set up for long sessions on the stones or the sand. The finish is a black and orange colourway.

The range is single-purpose: heavy, long spin and cast rods for projecting slugs and baits from the shore, rather than the shorter inshore lengths in the rest of the Samaki lineup. The Medium models suit chasing tailor and lighter shore species off sandy beaches, while the Heavy models add the backbone for casting metals at pelagics from rugged rock platforms. The extra length loads more energy into the cast for distance, and the cushioned reel seat keeps the rod comfortable through the long sessions that shore casting demands. Power selection is the main choice within the range, matching the rod to the target species and the water being fished.
