The Vanquish-X is Samaki's carbon offshore range, developed to be a light but strong offshore rod using X Core blank construction. Components are Fuji K guides, ultra-hard EVA grips, Fuji and aluminium reel seats, and a Fuji lock nut.
Twenty-four rods span 5'8" to 9'6" across Medium Light, Medium, Medium Heavy, Heavy, and Extra Heavy powers, covering the full offshore range from lighter spin work to heavy boat and jig applications. The carbon X Core blank is the point of difference from the composite Saltan: it targets lower blank weight while holding the backbone needed offshore.
The Vanquish-X is the carbon-based offshore option in the Samaki lineup, aimed at anglers who want a lighter rod for extended offshore sessions without giving up lifting power for larger saltwater species. The Fuji K guides shed braid tangles and resist wind knots, and the ultra-hard EVA grips hold up to the wear of gimbal use and repeated fighting under load. Both Fuji and aluminium reel seat options run through the range depending on the model, and the Fuji lock nut secures the reel against the vibration of hard jigging and casting. The 5'8" to 9'6" length spread lets the range cover short, powerful jig and boat rods at one end and longer spin models for casting at the other, all built on the same X Core carbon platform.
