Scimitar GS is the entry point to galatama fishing in Shimano's Southeast Asian range, and Shimano describes it that way without dressing it up. There is one model: a 6'0" two-piece, fast action, rated 4 to 14 g with 6 to 12 lb nylon, the same window as Aernos GS above it. A rod retainer ships with the rod, so a beginner arrives at the pond with the rest already accounted for rather than discovering the need on the first session. The single-SKU approach is the point of the rod. Galatama is fished at a fixed peg on a stocked pond, at ranges a 6'0" blank covers completely, so a range of lengths would add choice without adding capability at this level. Anglers moving up from it generally go to Aernos GS for the Fuji hardware or to Bassterra GS for the second length.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 1 model, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
