Xtractor+ Specialist

The Xtractor+ Specialist takes the retractable Xtractor format onto the coarse and specialist bank. All four rods are 10ft with a 127cm transport length and weigh around 161g, so a float or barbel rod can travel made-up in a car boot the same way the carp versions do. The lineup covers a 1.25lb Float rod, a 1.75lb Avon, a 2.25lb Barbel rod, and a Twin Tip model with interchangeable tips at 1.5lb and 2lb.

Construction matches the carp range: high-modulus C6 carbon with a raw carbon finish, M-Series DL black guides in a 20-T10mm pattern with a ceramic tip ring, VARI-TAPER joint construction, matt black DPS reel seats, and Japanese shrink rubber handles.

The test-curve ladder maps cleanly onto UK coarse work. The Float rod handles running-line waggler and stick work, the Avon suits chub, tench, and general river ledgering, the 2.25lb Barbel rod carries heavier feeders and bigger baits in flow, and the Twin Tip splits the difference on mixed venues where one rod has to cover quivering and straight lead work. Ten feet keeps them manageable in overgrown swims and small rivers.
