Triumph Freshwater Travel is the 2027 successor to St. Croix's four-piece Triumph Travel series, rebuilt as a three-piece family of ten rods scheduled for December 2026. Eight are spinning rods (27TTS) from a 5'6" ultralight to 7'0" medium-heavy; two are 7'0" casting rods (27TTC) in medium and medium-heavy. Blanks are SCII carbon with FRS, ART ferrule reinforcement and the Slim Ferrule Design, finished with stainless/aluminum-oxide guides and contoured cork handles. Each rod ships in a hard zippered travel case with reel and tackle storage, and list prices are $175 to $190.
The ratings track the standard 2027 Triumph: 2-6 lb and 1/32-3/16 oz on the ultralight, 6-12 lb and 1/4-5/8 oz on the mediums, 10-20 lb and 3/8-1 oz on the casting medium-heavy.
