中継SUIKEI SNIPER RC

中継SUIKEI SNIPER RC is a 1-model short-section keiryu stream range running 8.8 m. Keiryu rods are fixed-line stream tackle, fished with bait on a fine tippet and no reel at all. Models marked RC carry Suntech's RANGE CHANGE system, which sets the rod at more than one fishing length. The build is described with a solid tip, a tubular tip and a low balance point. Suntech gives the taper as 6:4. The stated design priorities are high sensitivity, reduced tip-heaviness and lifting power. Carbon content is quoted at 99%. Builds run 17 sections and 280 g. Japanese list prices run ¥75,000 (about $500).
