KANAME SNIPER RC

KANAME SNIPER RC is a 3-model short-section keiryu stream range running 7.5 to 8.5 m. Keiryu rods are fixed-line stream tackle, fished with bait on a fine tippet and no reel at all. Models marked RC carry Suntech's RANGE CHANGE system, which sets the rod at more than one fishing length. The build is described with a solid tip and RANGE CHANGE zoom. Suntech gives the taper as 7:3. The stated design priorities are high sensitivity, reduced tip-heaviness and lifting power. Carbon content is quoted at 99%. Builds run 15 to 17 sections and 185 to 245 g. Japanese list prices run ¥59,000 to ¥70,000 (about $393 to $467).
