KANAME SPECIAL本流

KANAME SPECIAL本流 is a 3-model honryu mainstream range running 8 to 9 m. Honryu rods work the main river rather than the headwaters, which is why they run longer and heavier than a keiryu blank. Models marked RC carry Suntech's RANGE CHANGE system, which sets the rod at more than one fishing length. The build is described with RANGE CHANGE zoom. The stated design priorities are lifting power. Carbon content is quoted at 99%. Builds run 8 to 9 sections and 180 to 220 g. Japanese list prices run ¥55,000 to ¥65,000 (about $367 to $433).
