KANAME SPECIAL NPⅡ is a 4-model short-section keiryu stream range running 5.5 to 8 m. Keiryu rods are fixed-line stream tackle, fished with bait on a fine tippet and no reel at all. The build is described with NPF unpainted blank. The stated design priorities are very high sensitivity, handling and low weight. Carbon content is quoted at 99%. Builds run 11 to 16 sections and 90 to 195 g. Japanese list prices run ¥38,000 to ¥63,000 (about $253 to $420).
