Curvester is TAPER & SHAPE's graphite line, built on the unified-modulus (統一弾性) idea that every sheet in a tubular blank shares one modulus so the action is set by the mandrel and sheet taper rather than by stacking stiff and soft materials. The result is a continuous bend that loads smoothly from tip to butt. The line spans several disciplines. C3JT is a 3-piece Japanese-trout bait and spin rod in T24 low-modulus 24-ton graphite, supple and smooth for stream work, while C3BT is the big-trout 3-piece for big rivers and lakes, designed to bend deeply and amplify power into larger fish. Area tact Vivace is the area-trout entry, an extra-ultralight rod with a lively, quick-return action for managed-water fishing. CROSSER is the 1-piece Finesse Curve rod, a sensitive finesse tool for trout and bass. On the salt side, Bay heart is a mid-modulus T24 Super Boat Seabass rod and Blue barrel covers shore saltwater shore game. Jewel bird is a mid-modulus T24 rod with an offset handle, tuned for a flexible bend with torque-full stability. Across the line the rods carry Fuji T2 polished titanium-frame SiC-S K-guides, the F.L.C. guide system on spinning models, and gloss-black aluminum or zebrawood reel seats with cork grips.
