The Valkein Break Through Zero-Verge (Valkein First Edition) is a core area-trout line built so any angler can work the full range of area actions and find their own style. It inherits the Dainsleif action philosophy on a light, high-sensitivity carbon blank with a slim, easy-to-hold grip, dressed in navy-blue thread and silver aluminum; the name reads Zero (nothing) and Verge (limit).

The eight models run mostly around 6'0"-6'3" in ultralight and light powers, including Valkein's 'Grand Light' (GL) action and Impact-Solid (ISS) models, easy enough for beginners, women and children yet capable as a second rod.
