The Valkein Dainsleif Zoneride is supervisor Hideaki Hanai's load-focused ('nose') model, designed for clear water and high-pressure situations. A delicate tip and a firm belly turn short bites into hookups: the tip takes the slight load, then the belly and butt draw into a natural arc so the fish loads onto the hook without being deflected.
The single 6'1" light model is optimized for close-range fights with light spoons and micro plugs on fine lines.
