Expedition is Zenaq's multi-piece travel line, built for overseas trips and remote-water access where a full-length rod will not travel. The series targets joint strength and a clean bending curve, the usual weak points of a multi-piece blank, through selected carbon and careful section design, with closed lengths from about 72.5cm to 90cm so rods pack down for small aircraft as well as canoe, horseback, trekking and camping approaches. The lineup spans cast-and-jig duties across paired baitcasting (B) and spinning (S) builds; B models use W-nut rings and casting seats, S models use Fuji DPS/TDPS spinning seats, and the spinning rods are designed for single-rod versatility across lure types. The short EP67 and longer EP73 cover general casting from 13-70g and 20-90g respectively, while the EP83S extends reach at 40-120g. The EP83-6 Trevally is the dedicated GT plugging rod for expedition fishing. The EP55-14B and EP55-14S Jigging models are compact two-piece jigging rods carrying Zenaq's boat-jigging knowledge into a travel format, rated to 450g and PE 4-6.
