Fokeeto Ikari

Zenaq's Fokeeto Ikari is an offshore vertical-jigging series built around the IKARI blank (patent #7061787), a carbon core embedded inside a high-elasticity wall. The construction lets a high-modulus blank bend deep and recover fast, applying constant pressure through a fight while keeping the responsiveness needed for jig work. The lineup covers high-pitch, short-pitch, slow-pitch, and long-jig one-pitch presentations across a wide target band, from roughly 3 kg fish up to 10 kg-plus, in depths reported from 50 to 600-plus meters. Two reel platforms run in parallel: FB models pair with conventional/baitcasting reels, FS models with spinning reels. The series scales by jig weight rather than by a single specialized blank, so one rod handles several jigging styles. Offset handles keep the closed length under 140 cm for travel, and hexagonal grip sections aid rotational control during retrieve. Zenaq frames the design around total tackle balance rather than chasing minimum rod weight, and the blank's shock absorption is what allows the lighter PE ratings listed across the range.
