Glanz

Glanz is Zenaq's gigantic-game casting series built around swimbaits and other heavy lures, with a lineage going back more than 20 years to the original model. The blanks are described as flexible and muscular, balancing pliability against rebound so heavy lures load and cast without the rod feeling dead through the retrieve or the fight. Stated goals are castability at extreme lure weights, precise swimbait operation, stability through the hookset and landing, and load distribution to reduce fatigue.

The X-rating denotes the model's weight class, running from X5 through the X78 extreme specialist, with lure ranges from 30g to 2000g across casting blanks of 6'7" to 8'4". Hardware includes an assist guide below the tip to limit wraps and slack, a super-hard EVA grip that resists deformation under power strokes, a high-rigidity grip end with a balancer ring to cut casting twist, a metal reel-leash sleeve on all models, and guide layouts tuned per line type. Two models are PE-only; the rest run mono or PE. Named targets span bass, striped bass, muskie, pike, barramundi, and tarpon across fresh and salt.
