Muthos

Muthos is Zenaq's shore plugging and rock-game platform, built over more than 25 years of field iteration for casting plugs and jigs at large pelagic and rockfish from the bank. The line strips out decorative parts in favor of blank performance, and splits into two model families. Sonio covers the light end (10-100g jigs, PE 1-3), engineered to handle and fight with a seabass-rod feel for fish to roughly 10kg in accessible, pressured venues. Accura is the heavier all-rounder (jigs to 230-250g, PE up to 10), proven on rocky shores worldwide against 10-20kg-plus fish, with a progressive bend that loads from a responsive tip through a high-torque rear belly into a strong but flexing butt rather than a rigid one. Builds are denoted by suffix: Type R is the competition-grade build with the RG guide system, single wrapping, and a hexagon seat; Ocean uses large-diameter Fuji ocean guides for rig flexibility and is the standard retail build; RG/K are earlier guide standards. Within Accura the H, HH, and HHH grades step up lure capacity and backbone, with 100HHH reaching into 15-20kg GT and large-pelagic territory. A Casting bait model (100H Bait) mirrors the 100H spinning specs for anglers running conventional reels.
