Plaisir Answer SOPMOD

A two-rod casting offshoot of the Plaisir Answer line built specifically for big-bait seabass, where the casting weights and fight loads exceed the standard spinning models. Both rods are purpose-built for oversized swimbaits and wood-joint lures, with blanks engineered to balance power, rebound, and flexibility under heavy casting stress and extended fights. The series is positioned for modern giant-bait methods, including Tokyo Bay boat fishing and nationwide shore applications, rather than general heavy-lure use. The two models split the role by weight class: a short, high-capacity rod for the heaviest baits and boat work, and a longer model that pairs lighter big-bait casting with light shore use. Line is rated in PE only (PE 3-10 across the pair), reflecting the heavy-tackle focus. Guide and handle geometry are tuned for the casting and leverage demands of large lures, including assist-guide and spiral-guide setups noted on the respective models.
