Tobizo

Tobizo is Zenaq's offshore casting line built around long-distance presentation, the trait the name ("Flying Tobizo") points at. Blanks use Torayca T1100G carbon with Zenaq's molding process, aimed at carrying both high strength and high elasticity in one section rather than trading one for the other. The stated design goals are reach (more water covered per cast), lifting power that accepts and returns angler load rather than relying on a stiff butt alone, and enough efficiency that the rod still casts well at roughly 80 percent effort to limit fatigue over a full day.

The range covers PE 3-4 technical work through PE 6-10 dedicated tuna and monster-GT models, with lure ratings from 30g to about 210g across single-piece spinning blanks from 8' to 8'6". The heavier models (TC84 and up) are offered in Regular and Type R builds. Hardware includes a hexagonal front grip shaped to the fingers, an RG guide system on the lighter models for distance, and an assist guide set below the tip guide to reduce line tangle. Primary targets named are tuna, GT, yellowtail, bonito, and kingfish.
