ICON is Cashion's flagship bass rod family, made in Sanford, North Carolina, and positioned for tournament and serious bass anglers who run a dedicated rod for each technique. The key feature of the series is the model-number coding system: every rod name begins with a technique abbreviation that tells you what presentation the rod is tuned for. The lineup is intentionally a matrix, outside the generalist family lane.

Blanks are unidirectional carbon fiber laid up in-house. Reel seats are blank-exposed for direct hand-to-blank sensitivity, guides are microguides for weight savings and casting precision, and grips are Kevlar split-grip in cork composite. The whole series is made in the USA, with a lifetime warranty against defects. About 62 models, casting and spinning. The technique code after the leading 'i' or 'I' identifies the rod: WJ for worm and jig, TJ for topwater and jerkbait, C for crankbait, Ch for chatterbait, CR for Carolina rig, FR for frog, SPB for spinnerbait, SB for swimbait, BFS for bait finesse, P for punching, SJ for swim jig, F for flipping or football jig, MP for multi-purpose, DS for drop shot, FFS for forward-facing sonar, and InS or INS for inshore saltwater.
