BPM

BPM is Jackall's JDM bass tournament series, sold primarily through Japan-domestic channels and grey-market importers. Target user is the technique-focused bass angler who wants a specialized stick per presentation. Lineup covers bait finesse, glass cranking, swimbait, heavy cover flipping, and finesse spinning. Blanks were redesigned for the B1 (2021) generation with reported weight reductions around 18-21% over prior BPM blanks.

Guides are Fuji Alconite rings with a SiC tip on most models. Reel seats and grips are tuned per technique, with longer rear grips on swimbait and heavy-cover sticks and shorter butts on finesse models. The 42-rod catalog uses a three-tier prefix. B1 is the 2021 redesign. B2 is the 2022 follow-on, generally in two-piece configurations. BP is the BPM Plus tier with the most specialized models.

C indicates casting, S indicates spinning, followed by length and power. Suffixes flag technique: BF for bait finesse, G for glass crankbait blanks, SB for swimbait, HD for heavy duty cover work, ST for solid tip, LM for longer model variants, and + for half-power increments.
